best early sweetest day gift ever?

i think so. after talking to walt last night, he decided that he would be more than happy to get me tickets to see ryan adams, but he would rather watch paint dry then spend out two year in chicago and see him. (he does not like him at all) he also said he would rather get me something that he would like to get me for my birthday in a month. so, even though neither of us have ever celebrated sweetest day, he’s getting me two tickets to go see him and even said he’d pay for gas just so i’d “shut up and be happy”.

this is why we work. he gets me, but doesn’t just give in to me and at the end of the day just wants to see me happy. and i do that in return as well. i am a very lucky woman. we have our faults and our corks, but it works.
