bummed.
a while back i had applied for a job at work that i was more than qualified for. again. it was a dream job, working in archives again, learning and really being able to challenge myself. when will i learn my lesson? it is clearly not in the cards for me to advance my career here. i couldn’t even get told face to face that i wasn’t getting an interview, i got a letter through the mail....
i am done with people. seriously.

i swear my friends are adults.
one of my friends just closed on her first house. for the last hour i have been getting “harassing” texts from her and her sister, telling me to suddenly become ill and come celebrate with them, as neither of them work tomorrow. i am pretty sure they are already vodka drunk as the closing was at 4pm today.
i love my friends.
